Function: Senior Architect
Location: Lisbon

About the job

You will be an ambassador of COSTALOPES. You will have the opportunity to be part of an international team and lead a number of projects, in their various stages, natures and scale, as well as interact with partners, clients and external consultants.

Responsibilities

    • Act as project leader; defending and reinforcing COSTALOPES’ vision and values;
    • Act focused on the market, constantly assessing opportunities and raising them for discussion;
    • Work in collaboration with the entire in-house team, from designers to the executive level, as well as with external collaborators, including clients, consultants and other partners, to develop and resolve the intentions of the project at all stages;
    • Skillfully resolve details and technical issues according to the project schedule and design;
    • Manage teams, times and production costs to comply with the established goals and periods;
    • Develop a thorough understanding of the technical and economic constraints of each project and successfully apply innovative solutions within these limitations, proactively implementing the necessary measures to maintain project balance.

Skills

    • 10 or more years of professional experience in the design and construction phases of complex buildings;
    • Very experienced in the leadership and coordination of architects, engineers and contractors, including specialist suppliers;
    • Experience in project design and management is desirable;
    • Conceptual and presentation skills.

Qualifications

    • Degree and Masters in Architecture, registered as a licensed architect in a country of the European Union and/or United Kingdom;
    • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office;
    • Language skills: Portuguese and English obligatory.
